Our calendula herbal oil was made right here at Puppy Creek with calendula we grew with love in our gardens.
Our calendula oil has a rich golden orange to yellow color and a sweet hay-like aroma. Calendula herbal oil can be utilized in:
- Creams and lotions
- Body butters or balms
- Salves
- Gels
- Ointments
- Facial or body exfoliants
- Salt scrubs
- Massage and facial oils/elixirs/serums
How much should I use in my product formulation?
Herbal oils are typically considered support and enhancing ingredients for botanical body care or aromatherapy formulations. The standard dilution for a herbal oil is between 5 to 20% of your total formulation depending on what type of product you are making and your goals for the product.
