Our calendula herbal oil was made right here at Yarrow Mountain Farm with calendula we grew with love in our gardens.
Our calendula oil is made from flowers grown right here at our farm. The oil has a rich golden orange to yellow color and a sweet hay-like aroma. Calendula herbal oil can be utilized in:
- Creams and lotions
- Body butters or balms
- Salves
- Gels
- Ointments
- Facial or body exfoliants
- Salt scrubs
- Massage and facial oils/elixirs/serums
How much should I use in my product formulation?
Herbal oils are typically considered support and enhancing ingredients for botanical body care or aromatherapy formulations. The standard dilution for a herbal oil is between 5 to 20% of your total formulation depending on what type of product you are making and your goals for the product.
